“Another favorite of my customers and mine. The Yamazakis are all magnificent but the 18-year is not as bad a single malt as they get. It continues to win awards at international contests and was named the best Japanese whisky Malaysia on the planet (for 2015) by well-known whisky specialist Jim Murray. The Yamazaki is really popular with our customers that we fight to match the demand. The nature of the whisky? The nose nip as well as a flowery aroma and has a lot of nut oils. The palate is soft, smooth, and sweet —with a moderate finish.”
